What is noni?
Noni (Morinda citrifolia) is a small greenish white tropical fruit about the size of a potato, high in antioxidants, and is primarily found in the South Pacific. For centuries, the noni fruit has been an anti-oxidant rich resource considered to have healthful benefits by generations of Tahitians.

What is TAHITIAN NONI® Juice?
In the early 1990s, food scientist John Wadsworth was introduced to noni, a fruit high in antioxidants and rich in a history of helping people. He later traveled to Tahiti and other islands in French Polynesia to further his research and determine the availability of the fruit for commerce throughout the rest of the world. Tahitian Noni International was the first company to bring the health benefits of the noni plant to the world outside of Tahiti. John partnered with Stephen Story, both food scientists, and spent two years formulating TAHITIAN NONI® Juice.

What are the benefits of TAHITIAN NONI® Juice?
The noni plant is very versatile. The fruit and leaves are known to have many traditional uses. When we talk about noni, we break it into three key areas of product development: the fruit, leaf and seed.

Fruit - We use a fruit puree in the juice beverages, as well as noni extracts in other products. The fruit in concentrate form becomes an exrtract that is used in other procucts including facial care and skin care. Leaf - Used as a tea the leaf has great antioxidant benefits, in addition it aids the digestive system. The leaf also can be processed into an extract that we call noni leaf serum which is a soothing gel used for topical applications.
Seed - Tahitian Noni International has recived a patent for the porcess of extracting the oil from the noni seeds which is used as a moisturizer for our facial care prodcuts. We also sell the seed oil as a separate product, which features linoleic acid which has been proven to be a powerrfull ally in skin hydration and health.

Does it work for everyone?
Overall, statistics show that 9 out of 10 people benefit from drinking TAHITIAN NONI® Juice. However, doctors who are more experienced with the use of TAHITIAN NONI® Juice believe that EVERYONE would get results if they drank enough of it and drank it long enough. How do I receive the best results from 100% authentic TAHITIAN NONI® Juice?
TAHITIAN NONI® Juice is ready to use right out of the bottle. Our recommendation for most poeple is to drink one ounce (two tablespoons) per day. Adjust this amount up or down to satisfy your particular needs. IT IS BEST TO DRINK TAHITIAN NONI® Juice in the morning or before meals. Traditional Polynesians recommend drinking Noni juice during peaceful or restful times during the day. (However, we happen to know of individuals who sip it throughout the day with amazing results!)

How can a fruit juice produce such a wide range of beneficial results?
There are some natural foods, plants and herbs that have been proven to provide a wide range of beneficial elements for our health and well-being. And the noni fruit happens to be one of them because it works at the cellular level. From a medical standpoint, it may help to know that the noni works at the cellular level, and since our entire makeup consists of different types of cells, it can have a beneficial effect on the entire body. Given that Tahitian Noni International’s noni fruit is harvested in Tahiti, how does TNI ensure that the fruit is quality-controlled?
Tahitian Noni International has a quality control system for the harvesting and the processing of the fruit. These guidelines include specific size and ripeness of the fruit used in its juices and testing by analytical labs. The puree is processed in Tahiti, sealed in chilled large containers, and shipped to our American Fork Utah Manufacturing Plant for bottling.

Is TAHITIAN NONI® Juice safe?
The Noni fruit and Noni juice is safe to eat and drink, and has been included in the U.S. Dept. of Agriculture GRAS (Generally Regarded as Safe) List since 1943. The GRAS list includes apples, oranges, and all other common fruits we eat now.

What if I get a reaction of some kind?
A small percentage of people (about 5%) get a slight reaction at first when drinking TAHITIAN NONI® Juice, such as a light rash or gelling of nausea, or diarrhea, or constipation. This is perfectly normal in some people, a very small percentage of people -- and not to worry! There are no additives, preservatives, sweeteners, or sugar in TAHITIAN NONI® Juice, only pure juice of the Morinda citrofolia fruit ("noni") with 11% added grape and blueberry juices to improce its flavor. If you know you are allergic to grapes or blueberries, you should not drink TAHITIAN NONI® Juice juice or at least starrt with a lower amount.

Should I stop taking my medication while taking TAHITIAN NONI® Juice?
TAHITIAN NONI® Juice does not interfere with any medication. A person should keep taking the nutritional supplements along with the TAHITIAN NONI® Juice. The TAHITIAN NONI® Juice works as a catalyst to open up the receptor sites of our cells, that way our cells can have better absorption of nutrients.

Does TAHITIAN NONI® Juice have any side effects?
TAHITIAN NONI® Juice is a tropical fruit juice. Those people who are allergic to fruit juices, may be allergic to TAHITIAN NONI® Juice. We are not aware of any other side effects.

May I mix TAHITIAN NONI® Juice with other juices?
Yes. Some individuals prefer to mix their TAHITIAN NONI® Juice with a pure juice or other beverage. This is perfectly all right. TAHITIAN NONI® Juice has already been flavored with 100% pure and natural fruit juices to fice it a unique but pleasing flavor right from the bottle.

Stephen Stpry and John Wadsworth developed a proprietary flavoring system specifically for TAHITIAN NONI® Juice consisting of 100% pure natural grape and blueberry juices. There are noe preservatives, added sugars, or other ingredients of any kind.

How much sugar is in the juice?
hfruit concentrates in TAHITIAN NONI® Juice do not contain any added sugar. The only sugar present is naturally occuring in the fruit. In the juice there is about 2 grams of suger per serving, as typical of most fruit jusices. What is the shelf life of TAHITIAN NONI® Juice?
TAHITIAN NONI® Juice is packaged in a high-quality recyclable glass container to acheive a shelf life of 18-24 months, perhaps longer, unopened. Please refrigerate after opening to maintain freshness.

Why is TAHITIAN NONI® Juice packaged in a glass container?
Wouldn't it be less expensive to ship if it were in a plastic container? Glass packaging allows TNI to thermal treat the juice in the bottling process, thus avoiding the use of any perservative. TNI's primary desire is to bring the juice of the TAHITIAN NONI® Juice to market with the same purity as it is used in the islands. The thermal treating does not hurt the effectiveness of the product. Glass packaging prevents the gas-exchange problem experienced with a plastic container. The last drop of TAHITIAN NONI® Juice will be as fresh and pure as the first. Glass packaging insures maximum shelf life. Remember, TNI's glass container is completely recyclable.

Why did Tahitian Noni International introduce TAHITIAN NONI® Juice in the juice form rather than a powder, capsule, etc?
First, let's be clear about something. Two of TNI's founders, John Wadsworth and Steven Story, studied the Noni for over three years before introducing it to the market. They studied the best way to take Noni, the important ingredients in Noni, and over 2000 years of historical evidence of Noni. Based on this knowledge, they determined to bring TAHITIAN NONI® Juice to the market in the exact form that it has been used in the islands of French Polynesia--pure and unadulterated. How is noni fruit harvested?
The fruit is hand picked as it ripens. Because of the favorable climate of the South Pacific, the noni tree bears fruit year round. Tahitian Noni International has specific guidelines about the size and ripeness of the fruit, and those that harvest the fruit must first be certified by Tahitian Noni International.

How are your harvester's certified?
Pickers are required to participate in the Tahitian Noni International training program. Harvesters educate Tahitian pickers on when and how to properly pick the fruit as well as how to ship it to our facility in Tahiti for processing. Pickers must pass ongoing inspections.

What evidence do you have that the growing popularity of noni fruit is sustainable? Or is this just another fad?
People have derived benefits from the noni plant for thousands of years. Tahitian Noni International is dedicated to pioneering new, innovative applications for the noni plant.

It is impossible to know the future with certainty. However, the acceptance and popularity of the noni plant and the various ways it can be used and consumed continues to grow dynamically.
